Paris EUROPLACE is the professional body which supports the France-based financial services industry and promotes Paris as an international financial center. Paris EUROPLACE gathers and expresses positions of market players as it seeks to strengthen the attractiveness of the Paris financial marketplace, establish constructive relations with European Institutions in a global financial context, stimulate research and financial innovation, and promote these objectives internationally.

Jérémie Pellet, 39, was until now advisor for financing the economy at the Office of the Prime Minister. He graduated from the Strasbourg Institute of Political Studies and started his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, prior to joining the National School of Administration (ENA – Léopold Sédar Senghor class). When he left, he joined the Ministry of the Economy and Finance.
After having spent 3 years at the Office of the Control of Concentrations and Aid of the General Directorate for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control, he joined CDC Entreprises, a venture capital subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts Group, as Investment Director, where he followed investment funds operating in the South of France, Corsica, Overseas France and the Maghreb region. His work included following CDC’s acquisition of a stake in Proparco and managing, with AFD, their mutual venture capital fund in the French overseas departments.
In 2009, Jérémie joined BNP Paribas as Director of the corporate and investment bank’s regulatory affairs, and was responsible for the implementation of Basel 3, prior to joining the bank’s market Fixed Income Department, where he was in charge of structuring financial solutions for European banks and insurance companies. He joined the French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, when he was appointed in 2014, to follow economic and financial issues, including the Macron Law, the creation of Business France and, more recently, the plans to establish closer ties between AFD and CDC.
